Home Sugaring Guide

PREPARATION BEFORE SUGARING

Reserve a space for yourself where you have room to sugar. Preferably choose a cool space where you sweat less, as sugaring is much easier then!

We recommend spreading a towel on the floor so that any sugar stains conveniently stay on it, and the towel can be thrown directly into the laundry! Also, have a damp towel nearby to clean the skin if needed.

HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

The sugaring paste is heated to make it soft and easy to work with on the skin. Heat the sugaring paste in the designated warmer, microwave, or hot water bath.

Here are some notes on how the sugaring paste works:

  • The workability of the sugaring paste changes with the temperature.
  • The warmer the sugaring paste, the softer it becomes, making it easier to work with.
  • In cool temperatures, the sugaring paste solidifies and becomes harder to handle.
  • If the sugaring paste is too warm, its manageability decreases.
  • Do not overheat the sugaring paste, and carefully check its temperature before use!

Microwave Heating

Place the sugaring paste, with the lid on, in the microwave and heat in 10-15   second intervals. You can heat it multiple times depending on how full the jar is.

Note! Be careful not to overheat the sugaring paste!

Gently check the temperature of the sugaring paste, for example, with a spatula. If   the consistency is soft, ensure that the temperature is suitable for the skin.

If the sugaring paste gets too hot, let it cool for a moment. If the paste boils   several times, its composition may permanently change, so be cautious with   heating!

Water Bath Heating

Pour boiling water into a pot or sink and place the sugaring paste jar with the lid   on so that the jar is almost completely submerged. It's good to cover about 75%   of the jar so that it warms up thoroughly.

Make sure no water gets inside the jar!

Keep the sugaring paste in the water bath until its consistency is soft and suitable   for application.

SUGARING INSTRUCTIONS

Area to be Sugared

Choose the area to be sugared based on your skill level. The easiest area is the legs, and the most challenging is the intimate area.

For those doing sugaring for the first time, we recommend starting with the legs to become familiar with the technique and learn how to use the sugaring paste correctly!

Leg Sugaring

1. Take an appropriate amount of sugaring paste on the spatula, covering the spatula's tip, visually about 30g.

2. Start spreading the sugaring paste from bottom to top. Begin from the ankle and slowly spread the paste upwards towards the knee. After spreading, return to the starting point and apply again. Repeat this at least 3 times. Do not lift the spatula vertically from the skin; instead, spread the paste along the skin.

3. After spreading, start again from the ankle and press the sugaring paste against the skin with the spatula. When you reach the highest point of application, go a few centimeters beyond it and quickly move the spatula towards the ankle. The sugaring paste will detach from the skin, pulling the hair along. Proceed with this technique from top to bottom, taking small areas at a time.
